Bioport Conducted a Voluntary Field Correction
BioPort Corporation has conducted a voluntary field correction on a portion of one lot of anthrax vaccine, company officials announced September 13, 2000. In agreement with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), BioPort has replaced labels on affected vials, which contained an inaccurate expiration date.
BioPort has conducted a complete inspection of the affected vials, and each have been relabeled with the correct expiration date.
